By far the MOST asked about product that I use is...."what kind of mascara do you use?"

If I had to own only ONE item of make-up it would be Mascara! I have huge expressive eyes, and with or without coffee I'd like to look awake & lively, which for me makes a huge difference what brand I'm using. I also do quite a bit of on-camera and on-stage work, so I love having an extra twinkle from my eyes. I've used a few brands lately that have not been so great for me, but I won't put those names on blast. Here are my TOP PICKS for Mascara & they won't break the bank!

TOP PICK

Maybe she's born with it....maybe it's MAYBELLINE!

Specifically, Volum' Express The Falsies -

Hands down, this is my FAVORITE mascara I have ever used...and it's under $6 at Target!

I have fairly long & dark natural lashes, but when I use a couple of coats (my preferred is 2-3 coats) I instantly have long and voluminous lashes. I prefer the "blackest black" in the non-waterproof only because it's a tad easier to wipe off. Also, the Falsies doesn't crumble or get goopy. This has been my Go-To mascara for over 10 years & it has never disappointed. So for me, I'm definitely born with it..and my mascara is definitely Maybelline!

Must have

OK, so this isn't exactly a mascara...but it IS a Mascara Must Have - it's a primer that you apply on your gorgeous lashes before you apply your regular mascara color.

The Lancome Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base  has No Color, so it won't goof up  your mascara color you're intending to show off.

It retails for $25.50 at Ulta & Macy's OR you can get the cute travel size for $13, which will still last you quite a while.

This is one of my go-to Lancome products because I can't mess around with my mascara game. With a simple brush stroke, the enhancer smoothes your lashes with its conditioning formula--featuring micro-fibers and Vitamin E ...which ALSO adds extra length and thickness to your lashes.
